Astrology Lessons - Saturn Special Aspects (Saturn Drishti)

Saturn is the Judge of Karma. Unlike Jupiter, whose aspect expands, Saturn's aspect contracts and brings discipline. Wherever Saturn looks, he demands hard work and patience. His aspects are considered heavy because they force the native to clear their karmic debts related to that house.

Saturn Aspect Significations and Results
3rd Aspect
(Effort/Willpower)
This is the aspect of Action and Struggle. It makes the native work extremely hard for the results of that house. It increases courage but often after initial delays or frustrations.
7th Aspect
(Direct Aspect)
This aspect brings Responsibility and Coldness. It often causes delays in marriage or makes the native feel a heavy burden regarding social interactions and partnerships.
10th Aspect
(Duty/Career)
This is the aspect of Karma and Authority. It demands total commitment to one's duties. It provides high professional status but at the cost of immense work pressure and constant testing.

When Saturn Aspects Other Planets

  • Saturn -> Sun: Differences with the father, lack of self-confidence, or government-related hurdles.
  • Saturn -> Moon: Visha Yoga effect. Prone to Depression, isolation, or illness to the mother.
  • Saturn -> Mars: Agni-Maruta effect. High technical ability but prone to injuries or sudden anger.
When do these manifest? These results become intensely felt during the Saturn Maha Dasha, Antardasha, or during major transits like Sade Sati.
