Astrology Lessons - Dhana Yogas (Wealth Combinations)

In Vedic Astrology, specific houses are primarily responsible for indicating a person's financial status: 2nd House (Wealth accumulation), 9th House (Fortune/Luck), and 11th House (Income and Gains). When the lords of these houses establish a relationship through conjunction, aspect, or exchange, powerful Dhana Yogas are formed.

Type of Yoga Formation and Results
Lakshmi Yoga Formed when the 9th lord is in a Kendra and the Lagna lord is very strong.
Result: Bestows continuous wealth, great reputation, and an attractive personality.
Dhana Karaka Yoga Formed when the 2nd lord (Dhanesh) and 11th lord (Labhesh) are conjunct, aspect each other, or undergo a sign exchange (Parivartana).
Result: Indicates the flow of immense wealth.
Indra Yoga Formed if the 5th and 11th lords undergo an exchange, or if the Moon joins Mars in the 2nd, 9th, or 11th house.
Result: The native enjoys royal comforts and high status.
Vasumati Yoga Formed when natural benefics (Jupiter, Venus, Mercury) occupy the Upachaya houses (3, 6, 10, 11) from either the Lagna or the Moon.
Result: The individual becomes a multi-millionaire through their own efforts.
