Significations of Rahu and Ketu
In astrology, Rahu and Ketu are known as "Shadow Planets" (Chaya Grahas). They do not possess physical bodies. They are the points (Nodes) where the Moon's orbit and the Sun's orbit intersect.
Rahu: Possesses only the head—no matter how much he consumes, his hunger remains (endless desires).
Ketu: Possesses only the torso—he has no thoughts, only feelings and the path to liberation (Moksha).
