Uttarashada is the twenty-first Nakshatra, spanning from 26°40' Sagittarius to 10°00' Capricorn. Symbolized by an Elephant's Tusk, it represents strength, endurance, and permanent victory. Its ruling deities are the Vishwadevas (the Universal Gods), representing collective wisdom and dharma.

General Characteristics

  • Lord: Sun.
  • Gana: Manushya Gana (Human).
  • Nature: Fixed/Steady (Sthira).
  • Traits: Highly ethical, modest, and patient. They are known as "late bloomers"—success may arrive slowly in their lives, but once achieved, it is stable and everlasting. They possess a deep sense of responsibility.
