Bhavat Bhavam - Deeper Analysis

Through the third house, we can learn interesting things about family members:

Danger/Death to Father: The 9th house is the father's house. The 3rd house is the 7th (Maraka) from it (9+7-1 = 3). Thus, the 3rd house is a maraka house for the father.
Loss/Expenditure to Mother: The 4th house is the mother's house. The 3rd house is the 12th (Expenditure) from it. This indicates the mother's health or her expenses.
Friends of Children: Being the 11th house from the 5th house, it signifies children's friends.
Father-in-law: This is the 9th house (father) from the 7th house (spouse). Thus, the 3rd house represents the father-in-law.
