Jupiter attains "Directional Strength" (Digbala) in the 1st house (Lagna). A person with Jupiter in Lagna has divine protection.
If Jupiter is in his own sign (Sagittarius, Pisces) or exaltation sign (Cancer) in a Kendra, "Hamsa Mahapurusha Yoga" is formed.
Kendradhipati Dosha applies strongly to Jupiter for Gemini and Virgo Ascendants when ruling Kendras.

Karako Bhava Nashaya: Jupiter is the significator of children (Putra Karaka). If Jupiter sits alone in the 5th house, delay or issues with children may occur.
Aquarius Ascendant Special: Jupiter gives much wealth but causes trouble regarding health or personal life because 2, 11 lordships aren't ideal for a fixed Ascendant.
Chandala Yoga: If Jupiter joins Rahu, "Guru-Chandala Yoga" is formed. This makes a person act against traditions (results vary by Ascendant).
