Astrology Lessons - Classified House Significations (Part 2)

Continuing our journey through the classified significations, we move from the self and its possessions (1st and 2nd houses) to the environment we interact with and the comfort we seek. In this part, we will focus on the Third House (Sahaja Bhava) and the Fourth House (Sukha Bhava). Understanding these houses is essential for judging an individual's initiative, sibling relationships, maternal happiness, and material comforts.

1. Third House (Sahaja Bhava) - "Bhratru Bhava"

2. Fourth House (Sukha Bhava) - "Matru Bhava"

Personal & Inner Life Happiness (Sukha), peace of mind, heart's desire, character, domestic environment, and the end of any matter (the "grave").
Education Schooling, primary and college education, and the foundation of one's knowledge.
Body Parts Chest, lungs, and the heart (emotional and physical).
Social Mother (Matru), maternal relatives, friends, and the general public (masses).

✨ Expert Tip: The Link Between Effort and Happiness

In Vedic Astrology, the 3rd House represents the "seed" of action (effort), while the 4th House represents the "harvest" (happiness/peace). If the 3rd house is stronger than the 4th, the native may work very hard but struggle to enjoy the fruits. Conversely, a strong 4th house with a weak 3rd house may indicate a person who inherits property or lives comfortably without much struggle.
