Astrologically this eclipse is happening on Makara Rashi, Uttarashadha and Shravana Nakshatra. Eclipse maximum point happening on Vrishabha lagna.
As per Vedic Astrology and Hindu tradition, people born in Makara, Kumbha, Mithuna, Tula should not watch this eclipse directly.
People born in other Rashis can watch it directly. People born in Makara, Simha, Kumbha, Mithuna need to perform some remedies after completing this Chandra grahan. They need to bath at near by rivers if possible and donate idol of Moon and Snake after completing grahan snan (bath after eclipse). Chanting of Mantra which they got from their guru at eclipse time will give excellent result and power.
