Good and bad planets for Capricorn ascendant /Makara Lagna
Capricorn is ruled by Saturn. For any ascendants 3rd, 6th and 11th lords are malefic. They give negative results in their time periods.
Good planets :
Venus: as the lord of 5th and 10th houses Venus becomes raja yoga karaka for Makara Lagna.
Mercury: mercury rules 6th and 9th houses. Mercury had its moolatrikona in 9th house. So mercury gives most auspicious results in its time period.
Bad or negative planets :
Mars: as the lord of 4th and 11th, Mars gives bad results. Mars had its moolatrikona in 4th which is good but 11th House is not good. Even Mars and Saturn are enemies.
Jupiter: as the lord of 3rd and 12th, Jupiter gives negative results.
Moon: moon can become "maraka" for Capricorns.
Neutral planets :
Sun: the sun is the Lord of the 8th house, it gives neutral results.
Saturn: Saturn rules 1st and 2nd houses. In 2nd house, Saturn had its moolatrikona, it's a maraka house. 1st is specious. So Saturn gives neutral results.
Rahu and Ketu give results as per their placement.
