Brampton · September 2035: Pradosh Vrat Dates & Local Puja Times

Pradosham is observed twice in a lunar month, during Shukla and Krishna Trayodashi. The date is selected by checking whether Trayodashi is present around the local sunset. Choose your actual city below because sunset—and therefore the applicable worship window—changes by location.

Before using the calendar

  • Use your actual location: two cities can have different sunset times, so the displayed window may differ even on the same civil date.
  • Check the Tithi timing: a Trayodashi that spans two sunsets requires the applicable traditional selection rule; the calendar applies the rule used by this service.
  • Respect your tradition: temple, family or regional practice may use a different Panchanga convention. Follow the tradition you normally observe when it differs.

How to read the Pradosham details

Pradosha Samayam
The broader evening observance period shown by this calendar, beginning from local sunset and extending for six Ghadis.
Puja Samayam
The principal worship period within Pradosham, beginning at local sunset and extending for the first three Ghadis.
Trayodashi Tithi
The thirteenth lunar Tithi. Its presence at the relevant evening period is central to selecting the Pradosham date.
Weekday name
Pradosham may be called Soma, Bhauma or Shani Pradosham according to the weekday. These names describe the weekday; they do not guarantee a particular personal outcome.

Questions devotees commonly ask

How is the Pradosham date selected?

The calculation checks Trayodashi Tithi in relation to the local sunset and applies the configured traditional rule when the Tithi touches the evening period on more than one day.

Why can a temple show a different date?

The temple may use a different city coordinate, Panchanga method or local religious convention. A difference does not automatically mean either calendar is wrong.

What is special about Shani Pradosham?

A Pradosham that falls on Saturday is called Shani Pradosham. Many devotees give it special devotional importance, but worship should not be treated as a guaranteed cure for health, debt or horoscope problems.

Do I need an exact city?

Yes. A nearby city is acceptable when your village is unavailable, but choose the closest place with a similar longitude and timezone because the calculation depends on sunset.

About these calculations

Dates and local timings are generated from astronomical calculations and the Pradosham selection rules implemented in this service. Religious customs can differ by region, temple and lineage, so use the result together with your established family or temple practice.
