Suitable Nakshatras for Marriage

Select your Nakshatra to find matches above 25 Gunas

The calculator scans every partner Nakshatra and Pada using the same Ashtakoota calculation functions used by the Star Match report.

Only combinations scoring strictly above 25 out of 36 are shown. Prohibited pairs, Dwipada conflicts and rejected same-Nakshatra combinations are removed.

Why Pada is required: several Nakshatras span two Rashis. Selecting only the Nakshatra can therefore produce an incorrect Varna, Vashya, Graha Maitri or Bhakoot score.

Frequently asked questions

How are the suitable Nakshatras selected?

The page calculates all 108 partner Nakshatra-Pada combinations with the same Ashtakoota functions used by the OnlineJyotish Star Match report. It shows combinations scoring strictly above 25 out of 36.

Why must I select the Pada?

Krittika, Mrigashira, Punarvasu, Uttara Phalguni, Chitra, Vishakha, Uttara Ashadha, Dhanishtha and Purva Bhadrapada span two Moon signs. Their Ashtakoota score can therefore change with the Pada.

Are all combinations above 25 displayed?

The page also excludes prohibited Nakshatra pairs, Dwipada conflicts and same-Nakshatra/Pada combinations rejected by the existing matching rules.

Does a score above 25 guarantee a successful marriage?

No. This is only a Rashi-Nakshatra-Pada comparison. A complete review may also consider both birth charts, Mangal Dosha, the seventh house, Dashas and real-life compatibility.

Why can the same partner Nakshatra appear more than once?

Padas belonging to the same Nakshatra and Rashi are combined into one result box. The Nakshatra appears in a separate box only when its Padas fall in another Rashi.
