సోమో దేవతా, విరాట ఛన్దః, చన్ద్రప్రీత్యర్థే జపే వినియోగః|
చన్ద్రస్య శ్రృణు నామాని శుభదాని మహీపతే|
యాని శ్రృత్వా నరో దుఃఖాన్ముచ్యతే నాత్ర సంశయః|| ౧||
సుధాకరశ్చ సోమశ్చ గ్లౌరబ్జః కుముదప్రియః|
లోకప్రియః శుభ్రభానుశ్చన్ద్రమా రోహిణీపతిః|| ౨||
శశీ హిమకరో రాజా ద్విజరాజో నిశాకరః|
ఆత్రేయ ఇన్దుః శీతాంశురోషధీషః కలానిధిః|| ౩||
జైవాతృకో రమాభ్రాతా క్షీరోదార్ణవసమ్భవః|
నక్షత్రనాయకః శమ్భుశిరశ్చూడామణిర్విభుః|| ౪||
తాపహర్తా నభోదీపో నామాన్యేతాని యః పఠేత్|
ప్రత్యహం భక్తిసంయుక్తస్తస్య పీడా వినశ్యతి|| ౫||
తద్దినే చ పఠేద్యస్తు లభేత్సర్వం సమీహితమ్|
