Developed by the renowned 20th-century astrologer Prof. K.S. Krishnamurti, KP Astrology refines Vedic principles to offer more precise and verifiable predictions. It is often called the “Sub-Lord Theory.”
The Core Difference: The Nakshatra Sub-Lord
While traditional Vedic astrology emphasizes the planet and the Nakshatra it occupies, KP drills further. Each Nakshatra is split into 9 subdivisions (“subs”) as per the Vimshottari Dasha scheme. The Sub-Lord is considered the final decider of a planet’s results.

- 1. Cuspal Interlinks
- Instead of only reading planets in houses, KP evaluates each house cusp’s Sub-Lord and its stellar position to reveal fulfillment of house matters.
