Kundali chart style guide
Choose the layout that you or your astrologer normally uses. The birth data, planetary positions and calculations remain identical; only the way the chart is drawn changes.
Tip: If you are unsure, choose the regional style most familiar to you. You can also use North Indian or South Indian, the two most widely recognized layouts.
South Indian
A square 4×4 perimeter grid. Zodiac signs remain in fixed cells and the Ascendant cell is marked.

A square 3×3 frame with divided corner cells. It is sign-fixed with Aries in the top-centre cell.
